Live and Dine like a Queen- Victoria and Alfred.

Last weekend I was treated to an absolutely amazing few nights at Victoria and Alfred Hotel. Victoria and Alfred Hotel is nestled in V&A Waterfront, and was rebuilt in 1990 into a luxury 94 roomed hotel, which has the most breath takingly beautiful view of table mountain. Victoria and Alfred Hotel was named after the Queen of England and her son and it certainly does live up to it's prestigious name. It has incredible fercilities such as a state-of-the-art  gym, an amazing spa called Urban Beauty, and 24 hour room service fercilities!

I was treated to a wonderful back massage at Urban Beauty Spa, as well as daily breakfast at Oyo Resturant as well as an unforgettable four course and cocktail dining experience at Dash Resturant.

The V&A Waterfront is an amazing destination to stay if you are visiting Cape Town, or even if you are just looking to enjoy the mother city more fully. There are loads of activities available at the V&A Waterfront. Some of the activities I tried while I was there include; a yacht ride, the aquarium and lunch at Awe Africa in the V&A market.

Things I recommend you do if you stay at Victoria and Alfred:
  • I highly recommend Dash Resturant. Their cocktails are extremely popular and too delicious for words.
  • Book a massage at Urban Beauty, the  beauty therapists are really kind, gentle and nurturing.
  • Go shopping! V&A Waterfront is now home to Tiger of Sweden clothing shop- do you need another reason to shop?
  • Take a boat ride along the canal. It is only R30 and you can use the boat as many times as you want.It goes along the canal from The One and Only to about where the CTICC is.This way you get to see alot of the buildings and city vibe around Cape Town.
  • Go clubbing! I tried out Alba Lounge last weekend for the first time and it was such an awesome experience, the interior is really luxurious and it has an amazing view of the docked boats at V&A Waterfront.
