Clipinhair (Review)

Remy hair extensions are quickly becoming a must have fashion accessory item in South Africa. Clipinhair, based in Cape Town sells affordable, lightweight and extremely easy too attach  100% Remy hair extensions. With eleven different colours to choose from you are bound to find the perfect match! They also come in different lengths as well as styles (straight or wavy).
I have personally owned my own set of Clipinhair extensions for about year now and absolutely love them! They are amazing quality and it was the lowest price on the market without compromising at all on the quality!

As girls, we all love to look and feel beautiful, and one of those ways is making our hair look beautiful. When I have my extensions in I automatically feel more confident and beautiful. With festival season around the corner there is no excuse to look absolutely fashion forward with a pair of Clipinhair extensions. As long as you know how to look after your set of Clipinhair extensions, you will be absolutely fine.

Synergy,Rezonance, Rock the River and Ultra are all events that are within the next few months! If you are like me and have always wanted to wear your extensions to a festival, but are always too afraid they will get ruined...read on.

Caring for Your Clipinhair Extensions at a Festival:
  • After dancing for hours, your hair is bound to be tangled and a bit knotted so when you get back to the tent, comb your hair out with the Tangle Teezer brush
  • If pieces of grass, thorns etc get stuck in the extensions don't start pulling it out as this will pull the air out of the clip. Rather take the extensions out and slowly start taking it out with your hands and Tangle Teezer brush
  • If you spill alcohol into your hair and it is all sticky, make sure to wash it when you get home from the festival. When washing the extensions make sure you do so very gently (See bottom of post for Youtube tutorial on taking care of your extensions)
  • Do not sleep with the extensions in (no matter how drunk/tired or both )! Make sure that you take them out and comb them before putting them into their box.
  • When you get home from the festival make sure to give them a gentle wash with both shampoo and conditioner. Remember that blow-drying can cause unnecessary damage and hair loss so don't do this too often. Remember to always use heat protective products when blow drying/straightening or curling your extensions.

Festival Fashion for Summer 2013

Clipinhair extensions are amazing as they not only give one heaps of confidence but all the celebs are going to festivals with their extensions. They automatically change an outfit from an average festival outfit, to a fashion forward bohemian goddess! The colour strips and feather strips are really hot for this Summer, they come in a variety of colours and are super affordable and easy to maintain.

Reason: Its the perfect outfit for comfortability without showing to much skin, easy to move around in, soft material and great to dance in without having to keep fiddling to feel comfortable around everyone & it looks absolutely Great and fashionable. The Boots are perfect for the gravel, sand and walking on thorns keeping feet absolutely safe, you can always take them off any time just for a break before deciding to walk\Dance off again. <3 Stunning Outfit for the most Asome Festivals to come

  5. I love the floral festival freedom - love having flowers in my hair :) I have 2 sets of extensions - both 16 inch and 20 inch, I had the 16 inch cut and layered to my hair so that it blends well, but I am way to scared to do it with the 20 inch, I don't want to regret it. How do you get the extensions to blend so well, I have shoulder length hair at the moment. Thanks!

  6. I gotta say that the " Floral Festival Freedom" has my vote ;) Even though I'm not really a floral type girl, I really think the look really suits the model, Carmen. Its fun, flirty and the combination of the model's looks, makeup, dress and head band all really ties together <3
